Hotspots, waves and clusters

Trina Hartwig
720mm x 510mm  /
Wool fibres, cotton
As humans we are a single strand of fibre, we are delicate, fragile and weak; but when we are spun together or gathered in groups our strength increases.

If we are knitted, sewn, crocheted to work together our strength intensifies significantly. In 2020 hotspots, waves & clusters are familiar words. To conquer this pandemic, we must unite by segregating. We must be strong and contain the hotspot or we will unravel, weaken & fall apart like a hole in a jumper, we will disintegrate. This is how we will rise above COVID 19.
