Lost and found

Christopher Rigg
220mm x 1190mm x 200mm  /
Australian Red Cedar
This work explores fragility.

The feather falls from a bird. Of no more use in its original form it can be either lost or found. A treasured thing of beauty or flotsam.

About the artist

Waves are a constant throughout Rigg’s work and evoke a sense of movement. Fine edges and polished surfaces are to be found in most works and are reminiscent of water. Rigg lives and works in Chinchilla and maintains a carving studio there.
