Sometimes we find ourselves lost, covered up by all that happens – to us, by us, for us.
Our collective debris of hurt, terrified confusion, addiction and advice manipulates to stunt us to the point of destruction. It’s hard to break through a built-up crust of expectations when we are constantly dumped on by those who seem to ‘have it together’. We have been told–Don’t touch! Don’t look! Don’t drink! Don’t over-do it! Stay away! Don’t worry! I need to have faith in me, to reach for the sun, push through my hardened, protective skin and grow strong and healthy again.

Kucks is a local artist, who has been involved in the artist community for well on 15 years. She enjoys all types of art but has a passion for charcoal, acrylic and mixed-media painting. Kucks loves a good story and invites you to see into her creations and find your own interpretation of her works.
