Making our marks is a digital work created from prints and marks made in the first instance by toilet paper. The qualities and layering of elements explore our interactions with the natural and sociocultural landscape. Just as sure as weather patterns and uses of our natural resources change, an unexpected global pandemic presents further challenges. Our community life will continue to evolve creating new traditions, while respecting those past. The true beauty of our community is in these layers of strength and resilience to weather these changes.

About the artist

Keller’s work explores a blend of traditional and digital technology. Inspired by her rural background and community surroundings on the Western Downs, her work is reflective of her upbringing on the family farm, dynamics of rural family life and respect for the natural landscape.
