Breaking the surface, captures the fleeting moment of a splash in still water. The three pieces, each unique in size but similar in form, embody the delicate disruption of calm. Curator's Comment
The sensation of the ‘drop’ in the water is successfully active and I can see many audiences finding this piece appealing. The cusp like shape that you want to hold, matched with rough, voluptuous lines and forms, and a shiny finish, enhances a tactile response. The pair exaggerates the effect. Strong illustration of the theme.
