Wouldn’t we all love to find gold at the bottom of a rainbow? We all chase them, like we chase our inner child. The storm brings so much promise or pain. Watching the ominous clouds build from the view of my homestead heading for our dry paddocks. The relief of rain, the promise of wealth, the subtle hues of the seven colours. Glorious rain, with the kiss of a rainbow at the end. The pure joy after you tip the liquid gold from the rain gauge. We all seek a rainbow and try to catch one, for it’s a promise of good things to come, it lifts us to a smile, hope and peace.
