Every few months I leave my boys at home and travel to sleep over at my bestie’s house. The morning sun streams in the kitchen window as we sit with her teenage daughter and drink cup upon cup of warm, cosy drinks in the cool sunlight. Being with them fills my heart. We laugh and listen to each other’s stories – the then and the now – and we fill our cups up and up and up.
