Artwork Statement
Depicting the links between faith, practice and the awakening of spirit, this work identifies that the pathway to revelry could be as temultuous as a wormhole or as peaceful as a day by the sea. It reflects that there are pathways between faith and ritual that lead to the ultimate revelry, which is enlightenment.
About the artist
A self-taught creative, Nathaniel Golder draws inspiration from early abstract works. Deeply reflective, his works often feature his motifs of portals, pathways and feathers. Golder’s favoured mediums are soft pastel, pencil and acrylics. However, with a young family time spent creating can be difficult to manage.
