2024 Western Downs Regional Artists' Exhibition

'Rural Realities'

Entries close: Monday 8 July – One form per artwork

Non-refundable entry fees:

$25 per artwork

$5 per artwork for students aged 18 and under

Submitted works will be selected by the exhibition curator to create a cohesive exhibition that speaks to the exhibition theme.

- Painting: Oils, acrylic, mixed media and watercolour
- Works on paper: Any work on paper substrate including but not limited to pen, pencil, ink, collage, mixed media (excludes watercolour, see painting category)
- Photography and new media art: Any photographic works either digital or analogue including new media art
- 3D works: Including but not limited to ceramics, sculpture, installation, assemblage, textiles, and woodwork

Artwork Statement*
This statement is written in first person and explains how your chosen response to the theme is reflected in your artwork. The artwork statement will appear on the artwork label and be included in the exhibition online gallery. Maximum 100 words. The statement will be edited if required.
Artist Statement*
A statement about yourself as an artist written in the third person for inclusion in the exhibition and the online gallery. Maximum 50 words. The statement will be edited if required.
Entry Fee Payment*
- Direct Payment at a Western Downs Regional Council Customer Service Centre
- 1300 COUNCIL pay with credit card over the phone
Delivery of Artwork - How will you deliver your artwork?*
- To one of the regional courier pick up points on Tuesday 11 July
- Personal delivery to Dogwood Crossing, Miles on Tuesday 11 July
Artwork Identification tag
- I will have my Artwork Identification tag attached.
Installation instructions
- I have emailed my installation instructions if required.
D rings
- I have attached D rings to my artwork where appropriate
